Widener University Civic and Global Engagement Program

As a Pride Service Site Leader within Widner University's Civic Engagement program I have been able to participate in a variety of service activities, get involved in the Chester community, and learn from those in the community.  Through participation in events like tree-plantings, community clean ups, service retreats, and partnerships with local nonprofits I have gained integral experience in nonprofit work and community work.  I am extremely thankful for the Civic Engagement Program at Widener as it has allowed me to make service a part of my daily life while being a full-time student.
